Care is simple and varies slightly by material. Brass develops a natural, warm patina over time if left untreated — many customers like this heritage look, though it can be polished occasionally to keep the bright finish. Aluminium and stainless steel both resist corrosion and won't develop a patina, so they just need an occasional wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Whatever material you choose, avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners, which can scratch the engraved surface.

Yes. As well as our standard rectangular edge, a scallop-edged border is available if you'd like a more decorative finish. You can also supply a logo or image to include in your design — just mention this when ordering (or send it via our contact form) so our team can prepare your free artwork proof accordingly, and let you know if any additional charge applies before production begins.

Wall plaques are supplied ready to mount on their own. A wooden backing board is available as an optional add-on if you'd like extra depth, contrast and a more premium, framed presentation.

Once you've placed your order, we'll email you a free artwork proof to review within 1–2 working days. Nothing goes to production until you've approved the design, so this is your chance to request any changes. Once you're happy and approve the proof, your plaque is made and dispatched within 5–10 working days, ready to enjoy.
