How do I look after my brass plaque?

Brass develops a natural, warm patina over time if left untreated — many customers love this heritage look and simply let it age naturally. If you'd rather keep the bright, polished finish, wipe occasionally with a soft cloth and a suitable brass polish, buffing gently. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can scratch the engraved surface.

What styles of brass plaque do you offer?

Can I add a decorative border, or include a logo or image on my plaque?

Yes. As well as our standard rectangular edge, a scallop-edged border is available if you'd like a more decorative finish. You can also supply a logo or image to include in your design — just mention this when ordering (or send it via our contact form) so our team can prepare your free artwork proof accordingly, and let you know if any additional charge applies before production begins.

Can I add a symbol, quote or QR code to a brass plaque?

Yes. Symbols such as hearts, crosses or flowers can be added for an additional charge, and QR codes are available to link to a memorial page, photo gallery or other digital content.

What happens after I place my order?

Once you've placed your order, we'll email you a free artwork proof to review within 1–2 working days. Nothing goes to production until you've approved the design, so this is your chance to request any changes. Once you're happy and approve the proof, your plaque is made and dispatched within 5–10 working days, ready to enjoy.
