Aluminium naturally resists rust, corrosion and fading, so it needs very little upkeep. Simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth to keep it clean, and avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can dull the engraved finish. No polishing is required to keep it looking sharp.

Why is aluminium more affordable than brass or stainless steel?

Aluminium is a lighter, more cost-effective material to produce, so it's our most budget-friendly option while still giving a clean, professional engraved finish.

Can I add a decorative border, or include a logo or image on my plaque?

Yes. As well as our standard rectangular edge, a scallop-edged border is available if you'd like a more decorative finish. You can also supply a logo or image to include in your design — just mention this when ordering (or send it via our contact form) so our team can prepare your free artwork proof accordingly, and let you know if any additional charge applies before production begins.

Will an aluminium plaque look as premium as brass or stainless steel?

Aluminium gives a clean, modern and professional finish, though it doesn't have the warm patina of brass or the heavier premium feel of stainless steel. It's a great choice when you want a smart result at a more accessible price.

What happens after I place my order?

Once you've placed your order, we'll email you a free artwork proof to review within 1–2 working days. Nothing goes to production until you've approved the design, so this is your chance to request any changes. Once you're happy and approve the proof, your plaque is made and dispatched within 5–10 working days, ready to enjoy.
